Skin Glow Pillowcase Turns You Into A Real Sleeping Beauty!

The ancient Egyptians used copper pipes to transport water to destroy parasites and other water-borne pathogens, and shipbuilders have used copper for thousands of years to keep algae from encrusting on the hulls of ships. French vintners have used a copper sulfate compound to fight fungus on grapevines for hundreds of years. Of course, copper is the basis of the penny, and lots of beautiful jewelry.

This is ancient history. Today, copper is being used in new ways. Cupron a new, copper-infused fabric, is being used in everything from hospital and industrial textiles, to pillowcases.

One such pillowcase called the Skin Glow Pillowcase (from the Skin Glow Bedding Collection by London Luxury), claims to help reduce wrinkles and crows feet (in about four weeks), just by sleeping on a pillow covered in this case! If it works, Cupron could really, truly turn you into a sleeping beauty!

The zippered pillow case looks pretty much like any other. It's standard size, but it still covered my "wave" style pillow which is an odd shape. The fabric is soft copper colored and feels almost as silky as a high thread count cotton. But this fabric isn't just nice on your skin, it's actually created with Cupron's manufacturing technology to permanently bind its proprietary copper compound to the fiber. The protection offered by Cupron-based products will last as long as the products themselves, regardless of how many times you wash it, even in hot water or with harsh detergents or bleach *do not use fabric softeners with this one, though.

Even better, since pillowcases can get a bit "icky", the fabric's antimicrobial protection against microorganisms such as bacteria and fungi offer broad-spectrum antimicrobial properties that threaten to degrade and damage Cupron fibers and that can cause foul odors, and the non-sensitizing, non irritating fabric is good for all skin types.

...but back to the beauty aspects of this Skin Glow pillowcase. The web site claims that studies have shown that after sleeping on Cupron’s pillow case the appearance of wrinkles is reduced. Your skin has to come in contact with the fabric (not a problem unless you're a back sleeper instead of a side one), and when in contact with the moisture from your skin, copper ions in the fabric work are activated to improve your skin's natural appearance. I don't have a photo of the pillowcase to share with you, but I did get this photo that shows how sleeping on the Skin Glow fabric can make a change in your looks. You can see that the results are not face-lift or Botox-dramatic, but there is a subtle change for the better.

I can't say for sure whether or not this works to reduce wrinkles and make you look better because I didn't use it for four weeks straight, but I can say that the pillowcase is as nice as any other. The bedding collection ranges from $19.99 to $124.99, but for less than twenty, the pillowcase is nice . You need one anyway, so why not get one that might just make you look better? If nothing else, getting a good night's sleep on a nice pillowcase WILL help you look healthier and better!
