Avon Clinical Derma-Full X3 Facial Filling Serum - A Miracle? Part I

The economy might be bad, but women (and many men) will cut back on just about everything except anti-aging products and services. You might not be able to afford the newest "it" bag, but you don't want bags under your eyes, or risk being called an "old bag." Like it or not, youth sells, and the quest to remain looking younger, longer, is getting more intense.

Skin treatments are expensive, but effective. The second most popular procedures is getting Hylauronic Acid injections to fill in wrinkles and plump facial hollows. But it's a pricey privilege costing hundreds of dollars each visit. Of course, if you have an aversion to needles, it's an unpleasant prospect as well.

While nothing takes the place of genuinely young skin, or even plastic surgery, for those hoping to ward off the hands to time on their faces a bit longer without resorting to something expensive, painful and/or drastic, there's actually a bit of new hope. Avon, always a leader in affordable but high-tech skin care solutions, has recently introduced Clinical Derma-Full X3 Facial Filling Serum $54.00 1 fl. oz. It sounds like the name for a rocket, but it's a topical skin treatment that contains the same, injectable grade hylauronic acid facial filler as you might find in the dermatologists office. Best of all, this lightweight serum is used only once a day at night, and at home. No appointments and no needles, necessary!

The product comes in a clear and silver pump bottle. The blue helix suspended in the clear gel looks seriously space-age. There's also no perceptible scent, although the product does feel slightly sticky on the skin, but you're supposed to use it at night, so that isn't really a problem).

As Avon describes it, this is a super concentrated serum with three times the level of injectable-grade hyaluronic acid for dramatic filling & plumping. Avon says in just 3 days , Clinical Derma-Full X3 Facial Filling Serum will begin to reduce the look of deep folds and just two weeks, 82% of the women they tested saw more youthful fullness in the cheek area (not sure what that means, but I'm guessing hollows were lighter). In four weeks, the product is supposed to dramatically reduce the look of deep facial folds and hollowness.

This product has great potential, especially if your skin is still fairly young and not terribly damaged, and if your expectations are reasonable. It's not going to make your skin look like you're 20, if you're 50. And, a topic serum can't give you the same, deeply invasive, but more dramatic results as an injected version will. But Hyaluronic Acid (naturally produced by your skin, but production decreases with age) provides moisture and fullness from within, so you should see some results.
As a beauty reviewer, it is difficult for me to use just one product, and only that one, for any length of time. However, I am going to commit to using this product for at least two weeks. If it works, it's a true miracle, so bookmark my blog, or better, yet, subscribe to it by email or to the blog feed in a reader (see right hand column for subscription options) and I'll get back to you in this. Meanwhile, while you're waiting for part TWO of my review, here's a video on the product:
