Orly Tiki Time is a Fun Way to Color Summer Nails

Orly Nail Polish $3.50/each from their Summer "Tiki Time" Collection will give you an immediate reason to have a party. The intense, saturated, creamy bright (but not neon) colors and one sheer shimmer, just make you feel happy the minute you apply them. The collection has all the colors of the spectrum: blue (Calypso Breeze); clear purple (Rio Nights); leaf green (Mint Mojito); clear bright pink (OMG) clear bright orange (SOl Cabana); Yellow (Live Wire) and a red/coral (Teeny Bikini). What I love so much about the tones selected for these nail polishes is that while they are unexpected and fun, they're wearable. All are opaque except for the Live Wire, a sheer yellow with gold shimmer that looks elegant, not like you have jaundice!
These beach-ready colors demonstrate just how there's a fine line between wonderfully wearable, and weird. Orly doesn't cross the line. For example, I wore Mint Mojito, the green polish, for Earth Day back in April. I loved it, so I kept it on all week. I just really liked it, and apparently, so did plenty of people who saw the eye-catching color and needed to know right then, who made it. And, the rich purple is really just the Summer equivalent of the plums and blackened purples that we've been wearing all Winter without raising any eyebrows. The pink and coral colors are timeless. Blue is always a challenge for me, but blue nails with a blue swimsuit or cropped denims, peeking out from wedged shoes, is cute.
Pops of color are a great way to express yourself, and putting a different color on nails, is an easy way to do it without going crazy. Even better, these Orly nail polishes cover beautifully and leave a fantastic, shiny, long-lasting finish. I'm a big fan. You'll be too. When Summer ends, I will still be wearing these colors because they make me smile.
