Redken's New Blonde Glam Color Enhancers!

Back in March, I was fortunate to attend a press event with Redken Hollywood colorist Tracy Cunningham and Redken Haircolor Consultant David Stanko. They were there to showcase Summer hair color trends. You can check the post out in The Advice Sisters Blog archives

We got information about the new, Redken Blonde Glam collection, featuring products that protect and correct blonde colors with in-salon treatments and at-home maintenance. He told us that Blonde hair has specific needs, can be fragile, and is more sensitive to light that can change and fade the color. Blonde hair also tends to be dry, and can look a bit dull since it's less reflective. The new blonde glam products contain good-for-your-(blond)-hair ingredients that moisturize, protect, and boost shine!

Although some of the products in the Blonde Glam line are for salon use, two new ones that are for consumers with blonde hair for at-home use are the Blonde Glam Perfect Platinum (for ultra-pale to light blonde hair or highlights) that works to keep blonde hair beautiful, not brassy; and the Blonde Glam Rich Vanilla (for warm blonde hair or highlights to keep them on tone). These conditioning products have color enhancers, so they help keep your color looking vibrant but not brassy, between in-salon visits. You can use these 1-2 times a week as needed. Apply it for three minutes (or up to five) depending upon how much color deposit and deep conditioning you want.

Redken's exclusive Interbond Conditioning System and Crystal Shine Complex have antioxidant rich grape seed oil to detangle and deeply condition, while helping to keep color true. Other key ingredients include: Mica (helps blonde hair, gleam); Protein (builds strength), and grapefruit extract (improves color clarity).

Both the Blonde Glam Perfect Platinum and Blonde Glam Rich Vanilla are $17.00 8.5 fl. oz. They are available from salons that sell Redken products.
