Lucky Shops is Coming! Lucky Shops is Coming!
Next week, November 5th and 7th are going to be better than any other time of the year for those of us who love to shop. Mark your calendar, wear comfortable shoes, and get ready for LUCKY SHOPS!!!
Lucky, the award winning magazine about shopping and style, hosts the event, now in it's sixth year. It is the grand slam of shopping events, with nearly 10,000 shoppers (from 35 different states!) attending last year, to get true designer merchandise at true bargain prices, up to 75% off! You can read my Lucky Shops report from last year to get an idea what you will find.
From shoes to soiree-ready gowns, jewelry to jogging shoes, the prices will amaze you, but this isn't a "bin sale" with old merchandise. Not at all. It's an over-the-top display of the very fashions you are seeing in stores and in magazines right now. A new bonus is that , Lucky Magazine and HSN have joined forces with 7 designers: Rebecca Taylor, Shoshanna, Tracy Reese, Rebecca Minkoff, Abbe Held of Kooba, Helen Ficalora, and Gerard Yosca, to create a Designer Capsule Collection, a limited-edition collection for Lucky Magazine and HSN, to be sold at the HSN Boutique at the annual Lucky Shops event. Lucky editors worked with each designer to create signature pieces for this premiere collection available to shoppers only at Lucky Shops and on HSN.com. In addition Lucky Shops attendees will receive complimentary Huggable Hangers with any fashion purchase.
Even better, the event benefits a charity every year. This year, the charity is "Dress For Success." There's a Dress for Success’ “Shops for Success” Boutique featuring nearly new designer and one-of-a-kind items from Calvin Klein, Diane Von Furstenberg, Oscar de la Renta, Dolce & Gabanna, and more. In fact, I snagged a pair of Ferragamo pumps and Manolos, for less than shoes I could get in Payless, at last year's boutique. In addition, Dress for Success will feature select vintage designer pieces donated by celebrity friends of the organization. 100% of the proceeds benefit Dress for Success - a non-profit organization that promotes the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire, a network of support and the career development tools to help women thrive in work and in life. It's $35.00 for the even on Friday, November 6th 11AM – 7PM and the SATURDAY SHOP-A-THON - Saturday, November 7th 11AM – 5PM is $20.00 .
