Ethereal, Wearable, Swedish Glam - FACE Stockholm's Latest Collection

I have missed reviewing FACE Stockholm makeup. I love their beautifully edited collections, offering a coordinated set of products. The quality is excellent, and you'll get a complete look that expresses a a specific vision of what FACE Stockholm thinks is right for each season. Luckily, I've been back in touch and received the FACE Stockholm Spring 2010 collection to share with you. It is available now, and includes an ethereal look that virtually anyone can wear. The focus is on soft roses for cheeks and lips, metallic copper and soft browns for eyes, with the surprise of an inky, navy eyeliner. The Spring 2010 vision is a supernatural force in the Swedish countryside that works to create an airy but earthy look. Here's how to get it:

The palette starts with a naturally luminous face, thanks to Go Natural 1 Mineral Foundation $30.00, (a soft, sheer, loose, neutral powder in a shaker jar). This Mineral Foundation is talc and paraben free, allowing your skin to breathe while, hiding imperfections and lines. It features Lavender Oil and Vitamin E, in a light-diffusing formula that lets you build from sheer to semi-opaque. It's non comodogenic, and oil free with natural UVA/UVB protection. There are five shades, but you can "Fudge" the color a bit since it is a sheer, natural, mineral makeup. One color should get you through the year, unless you tend to tan a lot.

Add romance with a super-sheer, Cream Blush $25.00 called: "Stockholm." The blush looks like a brilliant rose, but it leaves cheeks with just the merest hint of flush that's subtle, pretty and sexy. I love the shiny, silver, mirrored compact, too. If you wish, add a sexy glow with a tiny bit of creamy Highlighter $25.00 in one of in FACE Stockholm's beautiful colors. For this collection, it's 'Mystic," a glowing, sheer, white pearl. TIP: Use this dewy creme highlighter under your brow bone as well as on cheekbones. You can also layer it under powder shadow or blush for long lasting color and depth. All you really need to apply it is a fingertip, but you can also use a sponge or a nylon brush.

Eyes are smouldering in earth tones. For daytime, a Matte Eye Shadow $20.00 called "Joy" warms lids like creamy chocolate milk. For evening (or anytime you want more shimmer) add shimmery Eye Dust $22.00 (loose, translucent, shimmer powder) in "Treasure," the most gorgeous copper I've ever tried. This will be amazing with a tan, come Summer, too. TIP: Apply these wet or dry for a variety of smooth, shimmering styles. If you choose a color like coppery treasure, try sprinkling some of it into your moisturizer, foundation or body lotion, for an allover glow.

FACE Stockholm's signature mascara is a Volumizing Mascara $24.00, fitted with a voluptuous brush to get every lash. You can get it in brown and black, but for Spring 2010 it is made more modern, in a deep navy that is particularly flattering for blue-eyes. There's a Cake Eyeliner $18.00 in a round, shiny, silver compact to make eyes pop! I love the versatility, portability, and softness of a cake liner. I'm glad that FACE Stockholm still makes them in black, green, eggplant, brown, and navy. All you need is a little water and an Eyeliner Brush to get the look, just right. TIP: work from the outer corner inward, to create a variety of subtle and intense looks. Cake eyeliner can take you from a classically defined lash line, to wild and avant-garde, or to create an intense smolder. For traditionalists, or for a change, FACE Stockholm's soft and blendable, Pencil Liner $17.00 is a good choice, and it is also easy to tote in your purse. "Molly" is a soft brown that just adds a soft, subtle, defining line to the "Joy" powder shadow.

Let's not forget lips! I have always loved FACE Stockholm's lipsticks, not just because they are luxurious and long lasting, but because the come in shiny, silver metal tubes ringed at the base with two elegant, black enamel lines. Take one of these out to apply your lipstick, and make an impression! For Spring, Swedish enchantment takes the form of rosy lips, thanks to a gorgeous, opaque, Matte Lipstick $22.00 called "Success." This lipstick is almost a perfect match to the "Stockholm" blush. it is a rose that goes on intense, but not garish (the photo is close but more rust than rose--I just used it to show you the classy lipstick case). "Stockholm" is a romantic color, but it's not so deep that it's only for the dramatic. I like matte lips and they're hot right now, but to change it up, FACE Stockholm also has a number of squeeze tube Lip Glosses $20.00.each (called "Nektar") that can add shine and shimmer to your look. One that looks perfect with "Success" is called: "Korsbarsblomma." This lip gloss is almost the same color as the lipstick, but it deepens it, adds light-reflecting shine, and makes it "dressy."
If you want a feminine, easy to wear look for Spring into Summer, you can't go wrong with the collection I have just reviewed, above. Use it and you too, can be an ethereal, Swedish rose. Visit your favorite FACE Stockholm store to get the goods, or the FACE Stockholm Web Site

Colors are important everywhere, also for make ups. As being synesthete I live a life in colors. Synesthesia means that I see colors when I see words and numbers.I transform this in paintings of names and birthdays.
