Philip Stein Fruitz Watches Could Be Your Apple A Day For Well Being
Everyone knows that fruits are good for the body, but they're also good on your body! I don't mean that you should literally wear fruit, unless you are a Carmen Miranda clone. The fruits I am referencing are actually, Fruitz watches, by Philip Stein. Fruitz is a new collection of sporty and colorful watches named after the fruits that inspired the line (e.g.: Watermelon, Coconut, Blueberry, Mulberry, and Papaya). They make a fun fashion statement on their own, but they do something more than just look pretty. Some watches tell the time. Other make fashion statements, but Fruitz watches tell time, look good, and do something else: they offer wearers a sense of well being.
Philip Stein is known for creating luxury timepieces containing exclusive, natural frequency technology. Here is the semi-technical explanation of what this is: Natural Frequency Technology, introduced in 2008, works within the beneficial key frequency of 7-9 hertz, which encompasses the chief resonant frequency of the natural earth. This is a frequency that is harmonious and grounding to life. The Natural Frequency technology is delivered to wearers through a metal disk inside the watch that has been infused with key frequencies in a proprietary process. When worn on the wrist, the watch exposes frequencies and information to the biofield of the person wearing it. The biofield, which is the Master energy field that regulates the body’s functions, informs the body to relax, and in doing so, the person becomes more resistant and resilient to stress.
The Philip Stein web site claims that in studies, people have reported having better sleep, less stress, clearer focus and better concentration, when wearing Philip Stein watches. The company also has another technology that purports to deliver similar benefits, but it has a different delivery system. When wearing a Philip Stein frequency watch you are more in harmony with natural earth, centered and grounded… all of which creates a better and healthier.“
Could a cute watch really make you feel better? Certainly you will feel good because you look so chic, and you'll always know what time it is (after all, that's the main reason most people wear a watch). But will it make you feel physically better? That's hard to say. Maybe. I have been wearing my Fritz watch for a few weeks now. I've gotten compliments. I know what time it is. And in general, I feel pretty good. I have no idea whether or not I would feel less good without the watch, but what the heck...the watches are darn cute! All of the Fruitz watches have a round dial with a multicolor sunburst design in either stainless steel or gold plated cases and they are truly adorable. The photo shows just a few of the colors and styles that are available, but the range of color is a veritable fruit basket! These watches remind me of the pop art watches of the 60's--bright and fun to wear.
If you're not into colorful (although these watches offer the perfect "pop!" of color so necessary for Spring), get the "Mulberry" Fruitz watch, the most subdued of the collection. Its' color palette is a simple black and white with silver. A white on white starburst center and black "seeds" lined with thin silver borders, hands that look a bit like leaves, all housed in a silvery, stainless steel case, on a rubbery, black, silicon wristband. The timepiece design includes “seeds” instead of numbers for markers, and a uniquey curved second hand accentuated in a contrasting color from the dial (mine is a cheerful tomato red). The "Mulberry" Fruitz watch feels weighty on my wrist and through it's large face, I do feel a bit of a tingling sensation from time to time. I'm guessing that's the magentic disk sending information to my biofield!
FRUITZ are available now in stores such as Bloomingdales and Nordstrom and they'd make a great Valentine's gift for him or her. While most Philip Stein watches are quite prices, these are just $225.00. Not bad for a watch that might help you get that good night's sleep and feel calmer and more centered.
