The
Diesel Black Gold Runway Show Fall Fashion Week 2009 -An Advice Sisters
Feature (exclusive video)

Diesel is an international design company
created by designer Renzo Rosso in 1978 to create high-quality, edgy
fashions for men and women, featuring denim and accessories.
The Diesel Black Gold label is for those looking for edgier, more
individual style. For this collection, the inspiration was the
depression of 1930 (made modern) along with a bit of Oliver Twist and
the heyday of the jazz age. The looks were dark, layered,
rumpled, a bit despairing, and quite costume-y.
Of course there was plenty of denim. The
outfit on the right reminds me of an 80's jumpsuit.
There was a lot to choose from in the men's
fashions, from leather jackets and casual street wear, to a luxe evening
look, complete with black and white spats!
Although these looks might be a bit dramatic
"as-is," the individual elements are chic, and wearable (although you do
have to be fashion-forward to wear the jodphur pants on the right)
Here are the last two looks on a couple of
models that walked the runway, together, and on the right, some looks
from the finale.
