By now, Advice Sisters® readers probably have seen the hottest
beauty and fashion movie of the year, The Devil Wears Prada featuring
Meryl Streep, Emily Blunt, Anne Hathaway, and a chic cast of men and
women in to-die-for fashions and makeup. Now it's your turn to
wear some of the very same makeup featured in the film! We are
giving away 5 fantastic collections of ultra-luxe products including
some of the actual products and colors used by makeup artists in the
Devil Wears Prada movie or closely inspired by the film.
It's easy to enter/ All you have to do is complete the ENTRY FORM now through December 31, 2006. Describe your "Devil-esque," or simply fantastic, boss, and give us an example of how your boss is nasty, or nice, along with why you think you deserve to win one of these special, beauty treats! Creativity counts! THE ADVICE SISTERS have 5 great prizes to give away, courtesy of the Z. Bigatti, Christian Dior, and BeneFit Cosmetics.
CONTEST RULES: This contest is only open to citizens of the United States over age 18. 1. contest Entry Period. The My Favorite Holiday contest begins at 12:00 a.m. Eastern Time ("ET") on October 1, 2006 and ends at 11:59 p.m. ET on January 1, 2007 (the "contest Period"). 2. Eligibility. The contest is open to legal residents of the United States only, who are 18 years old or older. 3. How to Enter. To enter, simply complete the entry form at: http://www during the contest period, complete all required information on the online registration form, then click the "submit" button at the end of the form. Limit one (1) entry per person. 3. Mailing list. By submitting an entry, you agree to receive occasional emails from the Advice Sisters. However, you may opt-out at any time by sending your request by email to advicesisters@advicesisters.net Your decision to do so will not affect your entry in this contest or your chances of winning. All entrants must fill out the entry form completely and have a valid email address. 4. Ownership of Copyright: All entries become the sole and exclusive property of The Advice Sisters, and receipt of entries will not be acknowledged or returned. Prize will be sent directly from the sponsor, and delivery of prize requires a street address (no P.O. Boxes). Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, illegible, stolen, incomplete, invalid, unintelligible, misdirected, technically corrupted or garbled entries, which will be disqualified, or for problems of any kind whether mechanical, human or electronic. Only fully completed entries are eligible. Proof of age and legal U.S. residency may be required. 5. Random Drawing/Odds. One Grand Prize winner will be selected from among all eligible entries received during the contest Period. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Drawing will be conducted on or about mid-February, 2007. By entering the contest, you fully and unconditionally agree to be bound by these official rules ("Official Rules") and the decisions of the Advice Sisters, which will be final and binding in all matters relating to the contest. 6. Prizes. There are 5 prizes -- 1st Prize, 2nd Prize, two (2) 3rd Prizes, and a 4th Prize, The prizes are nontransferable, nonassignable, and no cash alternative will be offered. There are no substitutions of any prizes, except that Sponsor may substitute any portion of prize with something of equal or greater value, in Sponsor's sole discretion. Any portion of a prize not accepted by the winner is forfeited. All taxes on the receipt and use of the prize are the sole responsibility of the winner. 7 . Notification. Winner will be notified by email on or about mid-February, 2007. The winner will be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release when requested The winner will be asked to supply a photo of him or her-self with the prize, for exclusive use on the Advice Sisters web site and for the company supplying that prize. If winner is considered a minor in her jurisdiction of primary residence (a "minor"), the Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release must be signed by the minor's parent or legal guardian and prize will be delivered to the minor's parent/legal guardian and awarded in the name of such parent/legal guardian. If winner cannot be contacted within five (5) calendar days of first notification attempt, if prize or prize notification is returned as undeliverable, if winner rejects the prize, or in the event of noncompliance with these Official Rules, such prize will be forfeited and The Advice Sisters reserve the right to select an alternate winner from all remaining eligible entries. Upon prize forfeiture, no compensation will be given. 8. Conditions. Participation in this contest and acceptance of prize constitutes winner's permission for the Advice Sisters and the contest Sponsor (Pevonia) to use his/her name, address (city and state), likeness, photograph, picture, portrait, voice, biographical information and/or any statements made by winner regarding the contest or Sponsor or prize supplier for advertising and promotional purposes without notice or additional compensation, except where prohibited by law. By participating in the contest, winner agrees to release and hold harmless the Advice Sisters, the Sponsor, and their respective employees, officers, directors, affiliated companies, subsidiaries, distributors, dealers, retailers and advertising and promotion agencies from any and all liability for loss, harm, damage, injury, cost or expense whatsoever including without limitation, property damage, personal injury and/or death which may occur in connection with participation in this contest, or possession, acceptance and/or use or misuse of prize or participation in any contest-related activity and for any claims based on publicity rights, defamation or invasion of privacy and merchandise delivery. Entrants who do not comply with these Official Rules or attempt to interfere with this contest in any way will be disqualified. There is no purchase or sales presentation required to participate and a purchase does not increase your odds of winning. Any potential winner may be requested to provide The Advice Sisters and the Sponsor with proof that such winner is the authorized account holder of the email address associated with the winning entry. The Advice Sisters reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify, extend or suspend this contest for any reasons The Advice Sisters deem necessary. The Advice Sisters reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual it finds, in its sole discretion, to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of this contest or web site. The Advice Sisters may prohibit an entrant from participating in the contest or winning a prize if, in its sole discretion, it determines that said entrant is attempting to undermine the legitimate operation of this contest by cheating, hacking, deception, or other unfair playing practices (including the use of automated quick entry programs) or intending to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other entrants or The Advice Sisters. 9. Use of Data. The Advice Sisters take spamming and violation of privacy very seriously. The Advice Sisters will be collecting limited personal data about entrants online.
