1. Growing up in the country Spring meant lots of babies were to be born or hatched on our little ranch. The weather was always perfect for riding horses, dirtbikes or having a pic-nic. I no longer live in the country but I still enjoy Spring with my daugher by planting flowers and taking long walks.

2.     Spring celebration.Gentle rain, green grass, bright flowers. Joyful heart and soul.  (This poem is in the form of Haiku 5/7/5 syllable verse. Hope you like it.)<3.    I love spring in all it's bloom I hope that it will be upon us soon.So here's to Advice Sisters and those having fun... brace yourself, here comes the sun.

4.      We usually celebrate Spring by starting our garden. This year it will be a special garden which we will call our "Victory Garden". To us it is a victory as we have all survived Hurricane Katrina and it is a victory to have our homes at all!

5.    I have a Spring Clean Sweep Party where I go through my things and then bring anything I want to get rid of to my living room table. I invite friends over and ask them to do the same. We all drink wine as we look through each others things. Through this we exchange books, clothes, earrings and home items (pans, glasses, etc.). It's a great way to clean out our houses and get rid of clutter. The following day, I post the items that are left over on craigslist so that other people can benefit from it as well.

6.    I honor the spring by throwing open my windows and enjoying the spring breezes.

7.     My favorite way to jazz up a table in the spring time is by using pastel colored napking ring holders. Except you don't use them in the way you think!! First set your table using your favorite spring ware and setting out a beautiful floral centerpiece. Whip up some delicious vegetable wraps and easy, light sides. Here's the cute part - insert the wraps into the napkin ring holders and there you have it. A cute, edible decoration!!

8.     Every Spring me and my girlfrinds get together for a weekend road trip. No where far, just a few hours away. for instance, Vegas!!! We enjoy each others company, laughs and beautiful weather!!!!

9.     My favorite spring entertaining idea: bot a bottle of alcohol in a cut open empty milk carton filled with water and flowers and freeze. remove the carton when fully frozen. You have a decorative way to keep alcohol cold.

10.     Flowers are blooming, New leaves on the trees, I can hear the sounds,Of the birds and the bees. The air smells fragant, and love abounds, that's how you can tell, Spring is around!

11.     I love the smells of spring! My morning commute has me drive past several banks of wild lilacs, so I love to cut a few branches to bring home. My house smells great!

12.     I don't just have "Spring Cleaning" in my home. I enjoy a "Spring Cleaning" of my mind. Every spring I look at what I've done over the last year and forgive myself for my mistakes, while congratulating myself for my accomplishments. I take all the negative energy and bad memories and put them out by the curb, leaving only the lessons I've learned along the way.
